This past weekend as many of you know I competed at the #wbffdenver show. It was amazing, I met AMAZING people and brought my best conditioning I have ever brought to the stage. But even more than that, I brought my BEST SELF to the stage. Fully there, fully engaged- knowing that this prep I didn’t sacrifice balance. I can now say that #BalanceIsPossibleOnPrep.. 100%. I dedicated my prep to Balance and Freedom. 
This prep as many of you know, I didn’t have ANY food restrictions, did MINIMAL cardio (we are talking 3-33 min HIIT session/week (15 min of that is warm-up/cool down) and lifted HEAVY for about 70 mins 6 days/week). The Photo on the Left:
This was taken right after the athletes meeting this past friday/ the night before the show.. I was NOT depleted, I was still drinking 1.25 gallons of water, I had eaten 140gC that day and was feeling GREAT!

This was taken this morning.. 3 days post show- I have been on my #ReverseBalancedIntake now for 2 full days (165gC,45gF)- I haven’t really done a full “training session” yet (If you haven’t noticed, #LedbetterEvents have been blowing up this past weekend, my heart is SO FULL), I have however done 1 (of my 2) HIIT sessions for the week. 
I did eat at the cheesecake factory the night of my show and didnt count a single macro- that doesnt mean I binged or ate everything in sight- I ordered what i wanted and stopped eating when I was full. Sunday- I didn’t really count macros either- I finished my cheesecake, and ate when I was hungry and stopped when i was full. Monday and Tuesday-I tracked food- as i started my reverse on monday- however I know my fiber and water intake these past two days have not been where they need to be- so i will begin to monitor that more closely beginning today.. Notice how I didn’t once feel the need to binge post show.. I didn’t blow up because i drank water or soda or ate sodium..The magic reason?! Because I didn’t restrict those in the first place and took care of my metabolism throughout prep! #TeamNoRestrictions, #ScienceFTW.
